Science National Honors Society was founded in 2000 in order to promote, encourage, and recognize scientific and intellectual thought, to advance students' knowledge of the classical and modern sciences, to communicate with the scientific community, to aid the civic community with its comprehension of science, and to encourage students to participate in community service, and in turn, encourage a dedication to the pursuit of scientific knowledge that benefits all humankind.

At North Gwinnett High School, our mission is to combine academics and service opportunities to emphasize the importance which science fulfills to the mind and community.

Our goal is create a community of young scientists who will spread the love of the sciences and learning throughout the student body and the community.
